Learning to Meditate

This is a four week course suitable for beginners or those who want to learn more about meditation.

October 28th and November 4th, 11th and 18th, 2015, 10:30 am to noon.

The sessions will cover breath meditation, mindfulness, walking meditation, daily practice and loving kindness meditation. The first session will be an introduction to meditation: its potential benefits, challenges and principles. People are then asked to sign up to the following three weeks so that group cohesion can be developed. Participants will also be welcome to join the weekly Oasis of Calm sessions offered in the church. These will commence from November 4th and provide an opportunity to apply skills developed in a group meditation.

Cost: Four sessions 20, or 5 for the first session and 15 payable before week 2.
