(Founded 1982)

Previously known as Dagger Lane Operatic Society, in 2010 the emphasis changed from Gilbert and Sullivan productions to a choir with a varied musical repertoire and therefore the name was changed. We have performed concerts for many groups and organisations, competed in both the Cottingham and Hornsea Musical Festivals, and provided musical entertainment at Christmas at various outlets and festive fairs.

We are a very friendly and enthusiastic group of people who just enjoy singing, but who also love to perform and we are growing in confidence and ability under the guidance and musical expertise of our musical director, Paul Anderson.

We invite you to come along and give it a try – bring a friend too! – the potential benefits of singing, to health and well-being, are beginning to be recognised and documented.

We hope you will enjoy your singing experience with us, that you will feel very much a part of our group and that you will feel free, also, to contribute to the decision making processes that help us to grow as a choir.

Monday evenings from 8 pm – 10pm, with a 15 minute tea break, when we can socialise and relax a little.
